Bank of England
The United Kingdom's central bank also called the Bank of England or officially Governor and Company of the Bank of England. Dealing with monetary policy in the UK and is an independent public owned organization.

The Bank of England was founded on December 27th of July, 1694. The Bank's two main objectives are to ensure monetary stability and financial stability. It works closely with HM Treasury and the Financial Services Authority.

The Bank of England is headquartered in London and has been nicknamed The Old Lady of Threadneedle Street or just the Old Lady.
